CAN communication interfaces allow to connect other ECU and electronic components to the PODIUM2 STD1.

The baud rate for each can can be set. the baud rate value range is 0-1000 Kbaud. The baud value is fixed to 250 Kbaud if one of the following three protocols is used: GaugeBoard, SwitchPack and Powers.

"User Protocol" can be used once on each CAN, so up to 5 instances in a wiring.

On each CAN we can configure up to 3 different Protocols. A protocol can not be set twice in the same CAN or in different CANs (except "User Protocol").

J1939A and J1939B can not be configured together in the same CAN.

The first protocol of CAN 1, is always set to "GaugeBoard" .

The second protocol of CAN 1, is always set to "SwitchPack" .

"None" : means no protocol is used.

"N/A" : indicates the use of undefined protocol.
