This page describes how the inputs/outputs IN_OUT09,IN_OUT10, IN_OUT11, IN_OUT12, IN_OUT13, IN_OUT14, IN_OUT15, IN_OUT16,
IN_OUT17 and IN_OUT18 of the POWER33 ECU.
These are mixed logic input-output, that can operate in output if
'Active output' is selected, otherwise they behave like inputs :
| Category | parameter | Description |
|---|---|---|
| General | 'Active Output' |
To toggle to output function. This is only possible if no mnemonics are connected. |
| Logical level threshold |
'Low threshold ' |
Set the low threshold for fault detection. The valid range is 0 to 32000 mV. |
| 'High threshold' |
Set the high threshold for fault detection. The valid range is 0 to 32000 mV. |
| Mnemonic | STraToN Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| 'input_Boo' |
BOOL |
This is the logical command of the output (activated or not).
If this mnemonic is not used (connected) the output is not used. |
| 'Fault' |
BOOL |
This mnemonic is used to retrieve a default on the input,
in this case the variable connected to it will take the Boolean 'TRUE' |
| 'Equipment' |
BOOL |
The usage of the variables of default is not active while the variable connected to this mnemonic has its value to 'False'
( more details ). |
If 'Active output' is selected. The output can be configured either dynamic, or static.
| Category | parameter | Description |
|---|---|---|
| General | 'Current FeedBack' |
Must be checked if the user want a feedback of the current in the output. |
| 'Mode' |
Set the operating mode of the output : dynamic or static. when the Load Type is "ISO13207 LED LOAD" the modulable duty cycle is not available. |
|
| 'Load Type' |
Configure the type of load connected to the ECU output |
|
| 'Recurr. Period: LED' |
The value of recurrence of the frame 'LED', this
frame sent by the POWER to inform about the value of current and
voltage if 'Current feedback' is selected.
This setting is shared by all the outputs of the calculator (IN_OUT09
to IN_OUT18). |
|
| 'Recurr. Period: OUT_CMD' |
Set the recurrence time of the Frame 'OUT_CMD'
sent by the master ECU to command the slave's outputs. This parameter
is common for all the outputs of the POWER ECU. |
|
| Filter parameters is available only if "current feedback" is selected |
'current filter value ' |
Sets the current filter value |
| 'Voltage filter value' |
Sets the voltage filter value. This setting is available only if the load type is set to 'LED Load' |
|
| Degraded Mode | 'Degraded Mode' |
To use or not this output in degraded mode |
| '1s cycle' |
Configure the state of the output in the first cycle of degraded mode (On/Off) |
|
| '2nd cycle' |
Configure the state of the output in the second cycle of degraded mode (On/Off) |
|
| Protection Profile | 'Auto Calculate' |
if this option is checked ,the protection profile parameters values are automatically calculated by ActiGRAF with the Nominal Load. |
| 'OC_Range', 'OC_MThld', 'OC_HThld', 'OC_NThld' et OC_Time |
These parameters are used to obtain the protection profile, we have two profiles : i-Protection Profile For lamps ii-Protection Profile For motors |
|
| Diagnostic | 'Authorize MasterMode' |
If this option is checked, the output can be controlled in Master mode during a diagnostic session |
Warning : Frames
exchanged between the master and slaves induce a load on the used CAN
BUS. This charge is inversely proportional to the value of recurrence.
| Mnemonic | STraToN Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| 'Output_Boo' |
BOOL | this is the logical command of the output (activated or not). If this mnemonic is not used (connected) the output is not used. |
| 'Fault' |
BOOL | This mnemonic is used to retrieve a default on the output, in this case the variable connected to it will take the Boolean 'TRUE' |
| 'Fault_type' |
BOOL | In the case of a default, the variable connected to this mnemonic will indicate the type of default:
Open circuit detection strategy depends on OUTx_Load: |
| 'Current' |
WORD | This mnemonic will only be available if 'current Feedback' is selected.
Variable connected to this mnemonic will contain the value of current applied to the output. The value is given in mA.
This value is an input for the software application. |
| 'Current_Diag' |
WORD | This mnemonic will only be available if 'current Feedback' is selected and when the load Type is "ISO13207 LED Load".
The value is given in mA. This value is an input for the software application. |
| 'Voltage' |
WORD | This mnemonic will only be available if 'current Feedback' is selected and when the load Type is different than "ISO13207 LED Load".
The value is given in mV. This value is an input for the software application. |
| 'Equipment' |
BOOL | The usage of the variables of default is not active while the variable connected to this mnemonic has its value to
'False' ( more details ). |
If the output is used in dynamic mode,we have three
more parameters to configure in the 'General' category. And one more
mnemonic. Parameters and mnemonics of the static mode are used here,we
can find there description above.
2.2.1-Parameters
| Category | parameter | Description |
|---|---|---|
| General | 'Frequency range' |
The output can operate on two different frequency ranges, this parameter determines the range to use 'High' or 'Low'. |
| 'Frequency' |
This parameter determines the frequency for the output, the range of possible values is determined by the previous parameter 'frequency range'. |
|
| 'Recurr. Period: OUT_DC' |
Since the output is dynamic, so the value of
duty cycle must be indicated to command it. This setting controls the
frequency of sending the value of duty cycle. Since the frame is shared
by several outputs this parameter is common to all dynamic outputs
(other than OUT01, OUT02, OUT03 OUT04 and). |
| Mnemonic | STraToN Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| 'Output_Dyn' |
WORD | This mnemonic must be connected to the variable
STraToN containing the value of duty cycle. |
