The configuration memory (serial EEPROM) of the gear range selector

can not be addressed.

Effects on the driving operation

The stored data of the gear range selector are not available. The gear range selector starts in the basic setting:

* Driving is not possible or restricted.

* The flexible inputs and flexible outputs could be non-functional.

* Lighting of the gear range selector could remain dark.
