Description

Timeout of the CAN receive message TC1 (Transmission Control 1).

Effects on the driving operation

Driving only possible via LIMP-HOME switch.

Possible causes

Controller for direction setting (gear range selector / on-board computer) or connection to this controller is faulted.

Check the VOITH gear range selector for whether the lamp test is carried out (i.e. voltage supply is correct).

If all lamps start to flash after 10 seconds, the CAN connection to the E300 controller is interrupted.

If the defective component cannot be clearly identified, you should try to reproduce the fault:

  • Reinstall the component in the vehicle.
  • Test the function.

  • Check the transmission for leaks.
  • Perform a final visual inspection.
