Check list before calling the customer service

If communication problems have occurred between ALADIN and a transmission control unit and the "Communication problems" page could not help, please check this check list before contacting the Voith customer service, you will be asked for the following information:

   
       
 

Questions regarding your PC system:

      
       
  What Windows version are you using?    
  What browser are you using?    
  What ALADIN version are you using?    
  How did you install ALADIN?    
    If updated: What version was installed before?    
  Did the communication function before? Yes No    
       
       
 

Questions regarding the last communication attempt:

      
       
  Has the diagnostic cable been connected between the vehicle and the PC? Yes No    
  Has the vehicle's ignition been turned on? Yes No    
  Is there a cable break at the diagnostic cable? Yes No    
       
 

Questions regarding ALADIN:

      
       
  What K-line interface are you using?    
         
  When using the RS232 K-line interface:      
    Is the RS232 COM1 port available? Yes No    
    Are you using both ALADIN and DIANA on one PC? Yes No    
    If yes: Did you exit DIANA? Yes No    
    Did you deactivate Bluetooth? Yes No    
    Are you sure no other interface is connected? Yes No    
     
    When using the USB K-line interface:      
    Have the appropriate drivers been installed correctly? Yes No    
    Is the "USB" LED at the interface flashing / lit? Yes No    
    Are you using both ALADIN and DIANA on one PC? Yes No    
    If yes: Did you exit DIANA? Yes No    
       
    Are you using both interfaces on one PC? Yes No    
    Did you check the Power Management settings? Yes No    
    Did you check the ALADIN timing settings in the Setup? Yes No
