Using the Service window - Vehicle tab 


In the Vehicle tab, all the service data that describes the vehicle type and application is entered. During transmission acceptance (PDI - PreDelivery Inspection), this data must be entered by the Voith customer service.

How to open Service Data - Vehicle:

Select Service > Service data > Vehicle in the main window. All the service data is read automatically from a connected transmission control unit.

How to save changes in the service data:

If you want to save service data in the transmission control unit, click the Write to ECU button. Alternatively: The Save dialog window is displayed if you exit the Service window. In addition, you can use templates to save service data on the local hard disk of your computer and reload them. Please refer to: Using the Get Template and Save Template functions.

How to delete service data:

  • If you want to change individual information in the transmission control unit, edit the corresponding input fields and then save the changes using the Write to ECU button.
  • If you want to delete the complete data in the transmission control unit, perform a reset using the Reset Functions diagnostic function. For this purpose, select Service > RESET functions > Delete service data in the main window.

For the vehicle manufacturer, the combo box offers a great variety of the most common manufacturers for selection.

Vehicle type designation Depending on the manufacturer. The information is provided in the vehicle rating plate. A22

The combo box provides a selection of the most common models. The information is provided in the vehicle rating plate.
Midibus  
Chassis number Identical to the vehicle identification number. WMAA22ZZ06C00599  
Vehicle Identification Number
(VIN)
The vehicle identification number replaces the former chassis number. For further information, please see: VIN WMAA22ZZ06C00599  
Bus number The information is provided in the vehicle rating plate. A221820  
Commissioning date Enter the date in European format (DD.MM.YYYY). 15.03.2006  
Curb weight [kg] Numeric field
You can enter only numbers. This information is provided in the vehicle documents.

Maximum speed [km/h] Numeric field
You can enter only numbers. This information is provided in the vehicle documents.

Vehicle application Combo box data field
The vehicle application differentiates between cross-country traffic and city traffic. City traffic is divided into three SORT levels. For further information, please see: SORT

Topography
  • Combo box data field
    Topography describes the terrain in which the vehicle is mainly used. The terrain is divided into:
    • Plane
    • slightly hilly
    • hilly
    • mountainous

Plane  
Tyre type Combo box data field
The combo box provides a selection of the most common tyre types. The information is provided on the vehicle tyre.

Axle ratio The information is provided in the rating plate of the drive axle. I:5.74
