Service - Pushbutton selector

The pushbutton selector depicted indicates whether and which button is currently recognized by the transmission controller as pressed. The pressed button is highlighted in color. If no button switch is detected, all buttons depicted appear on a gray background. If a pushbutton selector is not detected by the transmission controller, carry out an upload for targeted troubleshooting.

Engaging a gear range key (1, 2, 3, D and R) only means that driving is intended. This intention to drive is displayed here in the window. The transmission controller also checks whether this intention to drive can be accepted. The real pushbutton selector has several flashing codes that indicate the refusal of engaging gears, for example. The flashing codes are not displayed in the window.
