ALF files - ALADIN license files

ALADIN recognizes two variants of access authorization. An access code that sets the user to a specific user level and license files (*.ALF files). While the User Level enables a fixed and defined set of functions, ALF files can be configured to the needs of the user as required.

ALF files can also be time-limited, hence enabling temporary access authorization (one-time access) for one-off sensor repairs, conversions or software updates, for example.
If you need a license file, please contact your Key Account directly.

Activating User Level and licenses

User Level und license files are activated in the ALADIN settings. For details, read: ALADIN settings

Time-limited licenses

In the case of time-limited licenses, the expiry date is displayed in the ALADIN settings.

ALF

If a license is due to expire in less than 14 days, you will be notified each time the program is started.

ALF

Do not attempt to make changes to the system date in order to continue using the license. If ALADIN detects any manipulation of the date, all licenses with expiry date will be ignored. The actual expiry date is then no longer decisive. Even re-installation of ALADIN will not change this behavior.
If the CMOS battery on your PC no longer has the power to save the current data, this effect can also occur unexpectedly.

A release code is required to enable ALADIN again. For this, please contact your Key Account.
