Service - Oil change assistance
The oil change assistance is a process for supporting the oil change where as much used oil as possible is drained from the converter by pushing a button without having to open the converter.
Valid platforms:
- DIWA.3 via E310
- DIWA.5 via E300.1
- DIWA.6 via KWP
- DIWAhybrid E300.1
How to open the oil change assistance
The oil change assistance is accessed via the Service group in the main window. Then select the Oil change assistance button in the Service menu.
The oil change assistance is offered depending on the connected ECU. Oil change assistance is not available without communication.
The display changes automatically after you have started the communication.
Emptying a converter
To do this, you must confirm that the engine is running, the vehicle is stopped, the oil temperature is > 60 °C and the transmission is engaged in N. You can then empty the converter. Emptying takes approx. 2 minutes.
