Event priorities

Eight different priorities are differentiated in the events on the event/fault memory. Priorities 1 and 2 count as errors, 3 and 4 as faults, priorities 5 to 8 provide information while priority 7 is an early warning message.

Please note that the 8 priorities and their corresponding weighting is a Voith definition. At the various OEMs, other numbers are assigned for errors, faults and information.
