1 Check CAN hardware on vehicle side

Procedure

1. Switch off ignition!

2. Measure the resistance between CAN1-L and CAN1-H and between CAN2-L and CAN2-H at the transmission controller or the pushbutton selector using a multimeter.

   • A resistance of approx. 60 ohm should be present.

   • If approx. 120 ohms are measured, a CAN terminating resistor is missing.

   • If Infinite is measured, both CAN terminating resistors are missing.

   • If a resistance of approximately or equal to 0 ohm is present, a short-circuit has occurred.

2 Carry out ALADIN diagnosis

Procedure

Clear event memory

1. Clear event memory.

   

   Event memory cleared

   Event memory cleared (Check under ("Reporting > Event Memory > Check mark set")

2. Possibly test drive

   Should the fault reoccur:

   

   Upload

3. Perform an upload with the ALADIN diagnosis software.
