Cable harness in the transmission

Speed sensor connector

N+ = supply connection
N- = ground connection

Temperature sensor connector T-SUMP E300

Pin assignment for transmission oil temperature sensor
1 = ground connection
2 = supply connection

ATTENTION:
The pin assignment of the temperature sensors for transmission oil and retarder oil is vice versa in the circuit diagram since the circuit diagram is laid out in preparation for the future combined temperature / oil level sensors for the transmission oil temperature.

Temperature sensor connector T-SUMP E300.1

Pin assignment for combined oil level / temperature sensor

1 top = S-GND = oil level sensor ground
2 top = OIL-LVL = oil level signal

1 bottom = S-GND = temperature sensor ground
2 bottom = T-SUMP = temperature signal

Temperature sensor connector T-CONV

Pin assignment for retarder oil temperature sensor
1 = supply connection
2 = ground connection

ATTENTION:
The pin assignment of the temperature sensors for transmission oil and retarder oil is vice versa in the circuit diagram since the circuit diagram is laid out in preparation for the future combined temperature / oil level sensors for the transmission oil temperature.

Oil level sensor connector OIL-LVL

Pin assignment for combined oil level / temperature sensor

1 top = S-GND = oil level sensor ground
2 top = OIL-LVL = oil level signal

1 bottom = S-GND = temperature sensor ground
2 bottom = T-SUMP = temperature signal

Connector controllable solenoid valve

Pin assignment for solenoid valve
4 = operating coil: connection to supply
2 = operating coil: connection to ground
1 = measuring coil: connection to supply
3 = measuring coil: connection to ground

Connector switched solenoid valve

Pin assignment for solenoid valve
4 = operating coil: connection to supply
2 = operating coil: connection to ground

TIM connector

TIM+ = supply connection

TIM- = ground connection

Level converter for serial interface

Diagnosis terminal

For the Voith Turbo diagnostic programs, the following pins are relevant for connection to the transmission control unit E300:

  • 1 = +24 V
  • 2 = -BATT
  • 8 = K line
  • (10 = K line, is bridged with pin 8 at the side of the E300 control unit)

The following assignment applies for the diagnosis of the transmission control unit E200:

  • 1 = +24 V
  • 2 = -BATT
  • 8 = K line
  • 10 = L line

Connection of serial interface

The following pins are used for connection to the PC:

  • 2 = K line
  • 3 = L line
  • 5 = -BATT

Diagnosis terminal on the vehicle

The following pins are relevant for the connection to the E300 transmission control unit for the Voith Turbo diagnosis programs:

  • 1 = +24 V
  • 2 = -BATT
  • 8 = K-line
  • (10 = K-line, is jumpered with pin 8 on the side of the E300)

The following assignment applies for the diagnosis of the E200 transmission control unit:

  • 1 = +24 V
  • 2 = -BATT
  • 8 = K-line
  • 10 = L-line
