Files and control units supported
Different file types are created or required while working with the Recorder.
Measuring files are created by the measured value acquisition system in the Recorder. Measuring files always have the extension ".d5m". These files can be opened and analyzed with the Voith Analyzer. A measuring file includes one or several tables that again contain the individual measured signals. The individual signals define specific measured values with the appropriate settings. In addition, all settings for the measuring device used are stored in a measuring file.
Measuring template files are required for measured value acquisition in the Voith Recorder. Measuring template files always have the extension ".d5t". These files include the templates for visualizing the different measuring devices in the Recorder.
You can also analyze measuring files from DIANA version 4 with the Voith Analyzer. These files always have the extension ".dmf".
You can also use the Analyzer to evaluate measuring files from the DIWAgnosis program. These files always have the extension ".d2d".
The Recorder supports the following Voith transmission/retarder controllers:
- E200/H4 (DIWA.3)
- E200/H5 (DIWA.3)
- E300 (DIWA.5)
- E300.1 (DIWA.5)
The Recorder additionally supports the following measuring devices:
- Quatech A/D Boards (DAQP-12, DAQP-16, DAQ-1602PCI)
- National Instruments A/D Boards (AI-16XE-50, NI 6034)
- Softing PCMCIA CANCard and CANusb
- GPS Receiver (NMEA compatible)
- Intersema air-pressure sensor (via LPT1)
- Programmable logic controller (PLC) via Modbus/TCP or ADS/AMS
- IRMA passenger counting systems made by IBIS GmbH
The Recorder supports the Voith K-line interfaces with an RS232 interface and with a USB interface.
How to proceed: K-line interfaces for connecting the transmission control unit and the PC.
