Recorder program overview and initial start-up

The Recorder desktop includes windows, buttons and menus that can be used for acquiring measuring values.

Double-click the Recorder symbol on your Windows desktop. Alternatively, you can click the menu item: Start > Voith Turbo > Recorder.

Click the red "X" at top right of the application window.

Click the Recorder symbol at top left in the title bar and select Close.

Click File > Exit in the menu bar on top.

If you start the Recorder, the main application window is displayed. These windows are the operating area where you acquire, edit or print measuring data. The Recorder desktop includes the following components:

Menu bar: In the menu bar, you find commands for various tasks. The menus are sorted by topics, i.e. you will find commands for using the Recorder in the "Recorder" menu.

Toolbars: In the toolbars, you find buttons for frequently required commands.

Status bar: The status bar displays information on the current measuring and analysis processes.

Effective range: Several virtual instruments that have been defined by the measuring template file used are displayed in the effective range.

The Recorder supports so-called shortcuts. These are key combinations that can be used to call specific functions. The possible shortcuts are displayed next to the corresponding functions in the menu bar.
