Display topics

The Help window is divided into three areas: the function menu on top, the navigation pane to the left and the topic pane to the right. Click one of the tabs in the navigation pane:

Content to have the Help table of contents displayed.

Search to find topics that contain specific text passages.

If you want to have a Help topic displayed in the topic pane, click a link in the navigation pane.

You find the area Further topics (if applicable) at the bottom end of the topic pane. You are offered cross references that contain additional information on the currently displayed Help page. Below you find the links:

Up to get to the top of the displayed Help page.

Higher-level section to get to the next higher level.

Click the following buttons in the function pane:

Symbol Description

Navigation bar ON / OFF You can use this button to turn the navigation bar ON or OFF.

Back With this button, you get back to the previous page.

Forward With this button, you get back to the initial page after pressing "Back".

Zoom This button magnifies or reduces the display.
The Zoom has three view sizes, click once to change to the next level.
small --> normal --> large --> small.
In the standard configuration, the ALADIN Help is always opened with the small view by default.
The small and normal view sizes are fixed. You can adjust the large view size in the Internet Explorer under View > Text size .

Print Prints out the contents of the topic pane (navigation and function pane are not printed).

Favorites Adds the current page to your personal favorites.
