Using the Monitors window
In the Monitors window, you can monitor the current status of all sensors, solenoid valves, digital input / output signals and control elements in real time. For this purpose, the Monitors window is divided into the following tabs:
Displays the signals / statuses of the speed and temperature sensors in the transmission. |
Displays the transmission and vehicle speeds. |
Displays the current positions of the accelerator pedal, brake switch/pedal and the gear range selector switch. |
Displays the current status of the solenoid valves in the transmission. |
Displays the digital signals activated in the dataset and their current status. |
Displays the most important current messages. |

Click the Service and then the Monitor 1 button in the main window. There is an automatic check for an existing communication with a connected transmission control unit.
If communication with a transmission control unit is not possible, this will be indicated by a
at the bottom right of the window.
This message is also displayed when communication with a connected transmission control unit has been interrupted.
For help in the event of communication problems, please refer to:
Communication problems.
Once you have eliminated the communication problems, click "Yes" if ALADIN is to re-establish communication with a transmission control unit. An existing communication is shown by the progress bar.

The general display is shown in every tab of the Monitors window.

On top, there are four symbols for:
| Symbol |

General transmission fault. |
General retarder fault. |
Transmission temperature too high. |
