Possible causes

The ABS-CAN signals sent on the CAN bus are contradictory.

Using the SAE J1939 CAN protocol:

EBC1 (Electronic Brake Controller #1) CAN message:

The CAN signals ´ABS active´ and ´ABS fully operational´ must have both values unequal 0xFFFF.

This fault occurs if one of the two CAN signals has the value 0xFFFF and the other signal a valid value or a fault id.
