Using the Read and Clear Event Memory window

In the "Read and Clear Event Memory" window, you can clear the event memory or create an extract from the event memory. If you clear the event memory, it will always be read first and an ECU report will be created.

The ECU report created includes only the "Event memory" section. All other ECU report sections such as operating data, identification data etc. are not created. When reading the event memory, an ECU file is created automatically on the local hard disk of your PC. If you have already made an upload, the file that exists on your hard disk will be updated. If you have not performed an upload yet, a new ECU file will be created. However, this file contains only the entries of the event memory. For a complete report / ECU file, please use the Upload function.

How to clear the event memory:

Click the symbol to "Read and clear event memory". The event memory is read and a report with the section "Event memory" is created. The event memory is cleared automatically after "reading".

How to read the event memory:

Click the symbol to "Read only". The event memory is read and a report with the section "Event memory" is created.
