Event priorities


Eight different priorities are differentiated between in the events. The event memory also differentiates between faults and notes. Faults have the priorities '1' to incl. '4', notes have the priorities '5' to '8'.

 

Overview of event priorities

Red
lamp
A serious fault that impairs roadworthiness and/or safety.

Stop vehicle immediately!

Transmission shifts to neutral!

Amber
lamp
 

Malfunction

3

  Slight fault that causes a recommended action to be displayed before starting to drive . The driving behaviour is not impaired or only slightly.

  Slight fault that causes an instruction to be displayed during the next visit to the repair shop . The driving behavior is not impaired.  

Note

5

  Indicates that the transmission / retarder is being operated outside the permissible range. (e.g., overtemperature). This is not a transmission malfunction!

Warning lamp Indicates that the transmission is being operated outside the optimum range. (e.g., increased temperature). This does not represent a malfunction of the transmission.

Amber
lamp
Message of the early-warning system. Information about wear or maintenance work.
