SORT display

SORT is a project between bus carriers and manufacturers for developing standardized fuel consumption tests for buses. Apart from factors such as the loading status of a vehicle, the vehicle application is decisive for fuel consumption. SORT defines three different application scenarios (SORT cycles) for buses: SORT 1 to SORT3. For further information on SORT, please see: SORT.

The ECU displays what SORT cycle a vehicle can be assigned to.

  • The percentage of stop times based on the average speed
  • The stops per kilometer based on the percentage of stop times
