The forced download is required if no communication is possible between ALADIN and the transmission controller after the function software or the dataset has not been loaded correctly. This problem can occur if a function software version or dataset version is loaded that is incompatible with the transmission controller used or if the loaded hex files are damaged. The forced download forces the transmission controller to ignore the function software already in the transmission controller and to activate the Flash Loader. The transmission controller then awaits a new download of the function software and dataset.
To carry out a forced download, you need a forced download connector.
