Display adaptation data in the report
 |
In order to achieve optimal shifting quality, the principle of adaptive pressure control is used in the DIWA.5 transmission. It allows the control unit to largely compensate for individual manufacturing tolerances and ageing conditions which may reduce the shifting quality. In short: The transmission software is optimized to low wear and high shifting comfort. The ECU report displays all correction values of adaptation. For further information, please see:

Shifting adaptation, adaptation counter |
|
1-2 shift |
This display shows the individual adaptation counters, split up into the individual upshifts / downshifts and the engine torque classes. If the counter reading is <5, adaptation of this correction value is still in the coarse adjustment phase. If the counter reading is = 5, adaptation of this correction value is in the fine adjustment phase. |
